KKB Group’s Plant Director, Craig Hore, completed this year’s London Marathan and raised £10,000 for food bank charity, Bobby’s Big Heart, in the process.
Craig, who was disappointed with his time of 04:15, more than made up for it by bringing in vital sponsorship funds to support the Essex-based charity:
“We are delighted to provide funds to support the selfless team at Bobby’s Big Heart,” said Craig who will start training later this year for another crack at the 2025 Marathon.
KKB Group is one of the food bank’s official partners and has previously donated food parcels and raises awareness of its work through social media.

Bobby’s Big Heart, which was established in 2017, provides food parcels to anyone genuinely in need of some help. The charity is sponsored by Morrissons Supermarket’s Canvey Island branch and many other companies including KKB. The organisation is run purely by volunteers who donate their time free-of-charge.
