Contract Crushing

KKB specialises in recovering and recycling inert construction and civil engineering wastes.

The very latest techniques and technologies

We are able to apply the very latest techniques and technologies to maximise the value of waste material generated during enabling works to increase the overall efficiency and sustainability of regeneration and infrastructure developments.

We have a local authority permit (issued by Medway Council) to perform on-site crushing of concrete and hardcore wastes to produce graded material (Type 1/6F2/HBM) for re-use as infill, piling mats and sub-base in the development. We can implement WRAP Quality Protocols to prepare certificated recycled aggregates if required.

Specialist equipment and labour can be provided to collate, segregate and process other wastes generated during regeneration projects. Our fleet is made up of multiple crushers (jaw, cone and impact), multiple screening plants (multi-deck and scalping), excavators (20 – 70 tonnes) and loading shovels with plant movements undertaken using our own low loaders. Most of our machines are diesel-electric and extremely fuel-efficient.

Full chain of custody documentation and detailed environmental data including destinations and recycling stats can be provided to help demonstrate environmental best practice.
