KKB Green Power
KKB has launched Green Power – a temporary low-carbon energy solution for construction sites which can bridge-the-gap where grid power is either unavailable, insufficient or delayed.
We have brought together state-of-the-art technology in power generation, charging, connectivity and biofuels to provide an integrated eco-system to power electric plant, machinery and equipment such as:
- Electric construction plant
- Site welfare facilities
- Site vehicles
- BESS units
We have partnered with JS Power (bio-generators), Rolec (charging technology), Starlink (connectivity) and B100 suppliers to deliver renewably-powered energy to site that enables clients to achieve project carbon-reduction targets as well as their own net zero plans.
KKB Power has been extensively-trialed on active construction and civil engineering projects.

We used KKB for demolition and remediation on an old petrol station site in Lewisham, given the tight site constraints and the discovery of additional underground tanks it was a difficult and challenging package. We can confirm that KKB were competitive, undertook the works safely and adopted a proactive approach at all times. The works were completed on budget, on time and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
KKB successfully delivered these works earlier than programmed, through being proactive and continuously driving the project forwards. Their staff communicated well and ensured that the project team were aware of progress and any issues which arose were swiftly dealt with in a very practical way
KKB Remediation carried out the works at Crawley Works for us. They were selected from a list of 4 tendering contractors as being the best bid and best price. They completed works in 23 weeks. Their price was around £2.7m including novated fees of our engineer. The works involved the introduction of the highways to the site and lengths of private road with relevant infrastructure. They were complete to time and cost parameters and to a good standard. Based on our experience of working with KKB Remediation we would have no problem recommending them for similar work opportunities

Tarmac and KKB have a true partnership, KKB provide Asphalt processing and recycle construction and demolition waste for Tarmac at 25 sites across the South. Through collaboration KKB minimises transport costs whilst Tarmac ensure a quality product is available at all sites on demand. KKB provide advice and support and deliver innovative low cost solutions on request. I am extremely happy with how the relationship has developed it is working well for both parties.
The Kingsnorth project was challenging with several revisions to scope due to changes in ground conditions, the potential for UXO, abnormally inclement weather and ultimately the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic. Throughout KKB remained professional in their response to these changes, worked flexibly with us and other contractors and completed the work within the agreed timescales and to the expected quality. We would be happy to engage KKB for similar work in the future
