KKB GROUP ARE ONE OF THE LEADING PLANT HIRE SPECIALISTS, COMMITTED TO CONTINUOUS INVESTMENT IN NEW PLANT AND TECHNOLOGY.

KKB Group provides operated and non-operated plant across a variety of sectors and are a proud member of the CPA Construction Plant Association. One of the things that sets us apart is our ability to hone in on a customer’s needs and requirements, building a solution that’s right for them. To preserve our reputation for providing excellent service, we work hard to stay abreast of current and future legislation.

We provide ourselves providing quality plant hire equipment and our robust policies and process base upon effective maintenance programmes and a fully trained support team ensures our Plant and Equipment, as minimum, meet industry standards.  Fewer breakdowns mean less dangerous contact with machinery is required, as well as having the cost benefits of better productivity and efficiency.

Leading the way in Hybrid power KKB have welcomed an additional 10 new Komatsu Excavators ranging from HB215-3 – HB365LC-3. This will take the total number of Hybrid machines to over 25 machines – one of the largest fleets in the UK. The HB215LC-3 features intelligent Hybrid technology designed to lower emissions and reduce the environmental impact. The machines operate with a 100% electric slew system, improving the cycle time of the machine and maximising productivity, the electric slew motor-generator captures free kinetic energy and regenerates the power during the slew motion. The Hybrid technology can offer a high percentage cost saving towards fuel against the standard diesel engine and help to reduce our carbon footprint. The machines low noise offers the operator a better and more productive working environment this benefiting site staff and members of the local community.

KKB is also currently working with its supply chain to create a roadmap to integrating all electric plant machinery into its current plant fleet to help meets its carbon emissions targets.
